Con has a broad property/commercial practice, focusing on contracts, business transactions and estate planning. Con has particular experience in structuring agreements and transactions from a risk management perspective and focuses on drafting joint venture, partnerships, shareholding documents that are written to achieve the client’s specific needs.

Con also supervises the majority of the conveyancing work at the firm as well as handling some of the larger "high-end" property development work, including the acquisition and sale of shopping centres, commercial buildings and strip retail shops.

Since 1999, he has been the lecturer in charge of estate planning in the Master of Laws course at QUT and regularly presents papers in Succession Law. Con oversees the firm’s wills and estate administration practice and estate litigation.

Jim has practiced extensively in the areas of property and commercial law focusing strongly on property transactions including sales and acquisitions of businesses, commercial buildings, retail shopping centres and off-the-plan developments. Coupled with his extensive legal knowledge and experience, Jim’s holistic approach to providing practical advice to his clients ensures that their interests are protected at all levels.

Jim also has experience in retail and commercial leases, as well as drafting commercial agreements, such as Commercial Tenancy Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Share Sale Agreements and Put and Call Options.

Alistair is an experienced building and construction law specialist. He has extensive experience in litigating construction disputes in the State’s various levels of courts and the Commercial and Consumer Tribunal. Alistair’s clients include principals, contractors and superintendents.

He also advises on the various aspects of contract administration and interpretation. His experience includes contract negotiation with residential and commercial property developers.

Alistair is a consultant to the Indigo Group who is one of Queensland’s largest property developers.

Jo has worked in the legal and real estate industries for over seven years. Jo heads our conveyancing team and handles residential conveyancing and off-the-plan sale and purchase contracts. Her extensive skills enable the firm to provide a complete service to developer clients from the purchase and subdivision of land through to the sale of individual lots and units.

Anna practises in a variety of areas of law including litigation, wills and estates. She has worked closely with our commercial clients in the area of debt recovery and insolvency including individual and company bankruptcy. Further, Anna conducts commercial litigation matters in the Magistrates, District and Supreme courts.

Additionally, Anna has expertise in estate administration which extends to contested estates, probate and wills. Whilst litigation, debt recovery and estate administration are her main focuses, Anna also experienced in conducting property and commercial matters.
